Ulyana Suprun presented the new team of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine

On September 2, acting The Minister of Health of Ukraine introduced the newly appointed deputies: Pavlo Kovtonyuk, Oleksandr Linchevsky and Oksana Sivak.

By order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 616-618 dated August 31, 2016, Pavlo Kovtonyuk and Oleksandr Linchevskyi were appointed Deputy Ministers of Health, and Oksana Sivak was appointed Deputy Minister for European Integration.

“Reforms in the social sphere affect every Ukrainian. These are the changes that can overcome the enemy within and help win the war. We are waiting for the start of the work of the Verkhovna Rada and fruitful cooperation with people’s deputies. With the trust of the President and the work of the Government, together we will be able to overcome many problems and build a strong Ukraine”, – emphasized the Acting President. Minister

Pavlo Kovtoniuk – deputy in charge of reforms

WHO specialist in health care reform, lecturer at the School of Health Care of NaUKMA. He worked as a project manager for health care reform at the National Reform Council. Participated in the development of the Health Care Reform Strategy 2015-2020 and the Concept of Health Care Financing Reform. Studied at the School of Social Work and the School of Health Care at the National University “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy”, studied the economics of health care I am on special programs of the WHO and the World Bank.

Oleksandr Linchevskyi is the deputy in charge of medicine and organization of medical aid in the ATO

Thoracic surgeon by profession. He worked as a surgeon in charge of combined trauma at Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 17. Assistant of the Department of Thoracic Surgery and Pulmonology of P. Shupyk National Postgraduate Medical Academy. Medical director of the “Protection of Patriots” initiative. Member of the European Union of Thoracic Surgeons and the European Union of Trauma and Emergency Surgeons. A graduate of O. O. Bogomolets National Medical University and P. Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education.

Oksana Sivak – deputy for public health and European integration

WHO consultant. Curator of clinical research in the areas of oncology, cardiology, rheumatology, endocrinology. Obstetrician-gynecologist at the Reproductive Health Center of Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 1. Coordinator of public medical projects in the “E+ Initiative” organization. Co-author of the law on rehabilitation and the development strategy of the national blood service. A graduate of the O. Bogomolets National Medical University.
