AIPM Ukraine representatives took part in the Ukrainian Pharmaceutical Forum held on December 4-5, 2019 in Kyiv. The organizer of the forum is Adam Smith Conferences. More than 150 participants and more than 40 speakers were present at the event. 

Within the framework of the Ukrainian Pharmaceutical Forum, the most urgent issues related to the continuation of health care reform, priority areas and the most problematic issues were raised.

Such topics as:

Regulatory situation and forecast for 2025;

National list of essential medicinal products and the process of product inclusion and review of the list;

Current situation and prospects for the future of “clinical” research in Ukraine;

Pharmaceutical retail market in Ukraine;

Registration and quality of pharmaceuticals in Ukraine;

Import and export opportunities in Ukraine;

Evaluation of medical technologies;

Logistics of pharmaceuticals in Ukraine;

Innovations and new technologies in pharmaceuticals.

The heads of pharmaceutical companies expressed their opinion regarding changes and prospects for the development of the pharmaceutical market of Ukraine. The speakers discussed the situations and challenges faced by pharmaceutical companies in Ukraine today.

Volodymyr Ignatov , head of the representative office of “Ipsen” in Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova, executive director of the Association of International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers “AIPM Ukraine”, moderated the panels of general directors “New faces – forecast of future trends” and “Generics and innovative medical drugs – action plan for future”.

Maryna Buchma , director of relations with state institutions of AIPM Ukraine member companies “Teva Ukraine” moderated the session “Assessment of medical technologies (OMT) – implementation and development”.

Other participants of the pharmaceutical market shared their ideas and expectations for the future, in particular, Koki Sato , General Director of Takeda in Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus,  Serhiy Baranov , Director for Ukraine of Proxima Research International,  Borys Labenskyi , Director of State Enterprise Stada Ukraine”,  Deepak Sharma,  director of the Glenmark Ukraine company,  Volodymyr Kostyuk , executive director of Farmak JSC,  Rajiv Gupta , general director of Kusum Pharm,  Eduard Pylyposyan , director of the oncology department of Novartis Oncology.
