Draft program of the fourth scientific and practical conference “Safety and regulatory support of medicinal products: from development to medical use”

Previous scientific and practical conferences ” Safety of medicines: from development to medical use “, which were held in 2007, 2009 and 2013 in Kyiv, identified a range of issues on the safety and use of medicines that require constant attention , active discussion and close cooperation at the state and international levels.

The past period is characterized by significant changes in the regulation of the circulation of medicinal products and the role of pharmacovigilance in these processes. New legislative approaches to pharmacovigilance have appeared in the world and in Ukraine, new methods of obtaining drug safety information are being implemented, approaches to rational pharmacotherapy, creation and implementation of medical-technological documents based on evidence-based medicine are being improved.

During the conference, organizational and methodological issues related to the regulatory and legal support of medicines from their development to medical use, the safety of medicines and patients, the state and prospects of the development of the pharmacovigilance system, the formulary system, the conduct of preclinical, clinical, non-interventional studies, coverage of vaccine safety issues in state immunization programs, etc.

This scientific forum is included in the Register of conventions, congresses, symposia and scientific-practical conferences to be held in 2016, approved by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.

Conference participants will be registered after paying the organizational fee. The deadline for payment of the organizational fee is October 5, 2016.

To participate in the work of the 12th National School of Young Pharmacologists named after academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine O.V. Stefanov, we ask you to submit candidacies of students under the age of 35, indicating the surname, first name and patronymic, year of birth, place of work and position, as well as contact phone number and e-mail for correspondence by September 1, 2016. To participate in the work of the School, students are invited to present a poster report and send abstracts of this report in Ukrainian, Russian, or English (the volume of abstracts up to 250 words) to the organizing committee of the School at e-mail: kizub@ift.org.ua with the mark “Theses reports of a student of the School” until September 15, 2016. The abstracts of the reports will be printed in the journal “Pharmacology and medicinal toxicology”. The authors of the five best abstracts of the reports will be invited to make an oral report (up to 15 minutes) at the sectional meeting of the School. Selected candidates will be informed in advance.

Abstracts that do not correspond to the theme of the conference or are not designed according to the rules will not be accepted.
