On November 13, 2015, a seminar on changes in the general scheme of state registration of medicinal products was held with the participation of authorized representatives of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and SE “State Expert Center” (DEC).

The seminar brought together more than 80 representatives of manufacturing companies.

At the seminar, the main aspects of the updated procedure for the re-registration of medicinal products in Ukraine (cancellation of re-registration every 5 years) were reported for the first time. In this context, the seminar participants also received information on the further development of the pharmacovigilance system in Ukraine.

The seminar was characterized by interactive communication and a lively bilateral discussion between the applicants and representatives of the authorized authorities.

The European Business Association thanks the management and authorized representatives of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the DEC for prompt response to the request to hold the seminar as soon as possible, clarifications and information provided in the form of presentations.

Understanding the need to conduct this event as soon as possible – because the new requirements are already in effect from October 30, 2015 – is an approach that is positively evaluated by the pharmaceutical community.
