On November 10, 2016, the 4th specialized forum “Parapharmaceuticals & Cosmetics in Ukraine” took place in the conference hall of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine – a professional event of the parapharmaceutical and cosmeceutical market in Ukraine.

The organizers of the event were the companies “MORION” and “UkrComExpo” with the partner support of the international public organization “Association of manufacturers, developers and operators of the market of special food products and medical and preventive cosmetics”, the Association of international pharmaceutical manufacturers AIPM Ukraine, as well as the Association “Operators of the medical market products”.

The forum was attended by more than 100 representatives of state regulatory bodies, manufacturers, distributors and pharmacy retailers, who discussed issues related to the market of health products, the main trends and problems.

The first session was devoted to regulatory issues of market functioning in Ukraine. On September 20, 2015, the Law of Ukraine dated July 22, 2014 No. 1602 VII “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Regarding Food Products” entered into force, which introduced significant changes in the regulation of the field of special food products. First of all, the regulator changed. If earlier it was the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, today the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection deals with issues of special food products and dietary supplements. During the event, new requirements for their production, capacity registration and authorization of food market operators, possible consequences of adopting new changes, etc. were discussed.
