The Association of Representatives of International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers AIPM Ukraine (hereinafter – the Association), which represents the interests of leading international pharmaceutical manufacturing companies in Ukraine, in response to the appeal of the Association of Doctors of Podillia noted the unused potential for interaction between the pharmaceutical industry and the medical community at the level of the country’s regions.

In particular, it is necessary to establish cooperation in terms of improving the standards of interaction between specialists in the health care sector and drug manufacturers to clarify the new European rules on the disclosure of commercial results of such cooperation (disclose practice), which aims to make such cooperation transparent and increase positive perception of our joint projects by society.

At the same time, since the reform of the central level health care industry has slowed down, AIPM Ukraine sees significant opportunities for regional projects, within the framework of which the industry, subject to guarantees of product consumption, would be interested in investing in health care system development projects in the region, starting from projects , when companies are interested in taking over part of the financing of the entire group of patients for a certain period, provided that the region finances a growing part of such a group and, including projects in which pharmaceutical companies implement, with regional support, financing of pharmacotherapy of certain diseases, programs for their prevention or improving timely diagnosis .

To discuss such initiatives, AIPM Ukraine proposed holding working meetings between regional authorities, regional medical associations and companies interested in such projects.
