AIPM Ukraine member companies work and help Ukraine

Member companies of AIPM Ukraine demonstrate high social responsibility and civic duty, working continuously in war conditions and establishing new logistics schemes for doing business in Ukraine to meet the needs of patients.

Companies provide essential humanitarian aid to Ukrainian patients and support the health care system of Ukraine, provide financial assistance to charitable organizations and international funds.

Also, companies actively cooperate with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, other state authorities, state enterprises and institutions in the field of health care, as well as volunteer organizations in order to provide the necessary assistance, as well as to ensure further support of necessary drug stocks in warehouses in the country .

ACINO

So far, since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, Acino has sent almost 75,000 packages of medicines from the company’s product portfolio, including 32,000 packages of Euthyrox, to the hot spots of the country for humanitarian purposes. More than €500,000 worth of medicines from Acino’s product portfolio, used in areas such as neurology, psychiatry, cardiology, therapy and endocrinology, have been donated to more than 100 medical institutions and charities.

The Acino pharmaceutical plant in Ukraine has resumed the full cycle of drug production in order to continue to primarily support patients with chronic diseases who are on lifelong therapy.

Acino continues to cooperate with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, hospitals, charitable foundations and public associations, providing the necessary volumes of vital medicines. In addition, drug deliveries from the company’s warehouses in Switzerland and the CIS countries are organized to help compatriots have access to treatment.

Bayer

The “Bayer” company has allocated 3 million euros to support Ukraine, part of which has already been provided as charitable aid in the form of about 30,000 doses of antibiotics and 1 ton of sterile medical materials, as well as various drugs: anti-inflammatory, cardiovascular, antihistamine, oncological, diagnostic and for the treatment of skin diseases.

Bayer employees from all over the world expressed their solidarity with Ukraine and collected more than 1 million euros in charitable contributions to help Ukraine. Bayer will double all employee contributions to increase support. In addition, Bayer employees have created a platform to provide housing for colleagues from Ukraine and their families who may need temporary shelter, and organize local volunteer campaigns.

In order to support small farms, to ensure that they have a sufficient amount of corn seed, “Bayer” in Ukraine plans to provide approximately 26,000 units of corn seeds free of charge, which will allow more than 30,000 hectares to be sown.

At the request of the “Tvoya Opora” charitable foundation, “Bayer” provided clothes, towels, portable chargers and other necessary items in the amount of more than 300,000 hryvnias. patients of the M.M. Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery and the hospital in Chernihiv.

The “Bayer” company transferred UAH 1,600,000 to the Kharkiv charity fund “Kharkiv with you”. to support residents of Kharkiv and nearby settlements with basic necessities and hygiene products.

Berlin-Chemie

In addition to Berlin-Chemie’s initial donation, a donation of €200,000 was made directly to the Red Cross, and almost €60,000 was raised by the company’s employees around the world, making a total direct donation to the Red Cross of around €420,000. Including medicine donations, the total charitable contribution to date exceeds 1 million euros.

The company also halted all advertising spending in Russia, all new investments and stopped recruiting new employees.

Bionorica

Every week, Bionorika sends cars with humanitarian cargo (food, hygiene products, children’s products, medicines produced by Bionorika) from the company’s head office in Germany, part of which is aimed at covering the needs of citizens in active combat zones, the other is directed to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Also, the company directed financial assistance in the amount of about 100,000 euros to support war victims and provided sponsorship assistance to children’s clinics in Moldova, which receive and treat children from Ukraine.

EGIS

The company provided humanitarian aid to Ukrainian patients in the amount of 500,000 US dollars and supplied the Ministry of Health of Ukraine with antiseptics, antidepressants, antimicrobials, cardiology drugs and other drugs for emergency care of patients. The company offered further humanitarian aid in the amount of HUF 100 million and planned additional supplies of medicines to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine for the benefit of patients.

Ever Pharma

The company handed over painkillers and antibacterial drugs in the amount of about 700,000 euros to healthcare institutions of Ukraine as humanitarian aid.

In addition, EVER Pharma initiated the process of providing free medicines for the treatment of patients with Parkinson’s disease from different regions of Ukraine. The international Austrian-Ukrainian educational project ACURE is also being implemented, designed to improve cooperation in the field of rehabilitation after stroke and brain injury, including combat.

Ipsen Pharma

The company contributed to the provision of humanitarian aid to the people of Ukraine through a donation of 1.5 million euros, distributed between two humanitarian organizations – Tulipe, which collects donations from medical companies to respond to the emergency needs of the population affected during acute security crises health, natural disasters and conflicts through its partners in the field, and the International Red Cross in France, an independent charity that works with governments and public bodies.

Orion Pharma

The company has donated EUR 51,000 to the Finnish Red Cross to help victims of the war in Ukraine.

Perrigo

The Perrigo company provided charitable assistance with medicines from the anti-cold group, personal care products in the amount of about 300 pallets and provided high-quality equipment for employees fighting at the front.

“Perrigo Ukraine” LLC additionally transferred the company’s products to the Ukrainian Armed Forces for UAH 500,000.

Teva

Teva has donated $11 million in essential medicines. Teva shipped more than 1.3 million packages of medicines, including antibiotics and other medicines included in the list of essential medicines of the WHO, as well as goods for Ukrainian babies and children suffering from unfavorable sanitary and hygienic conditions.

Teva provided more than 350,000 packages of medicines for the Ministry of Health of Ukraine in the amount of more than 756,000 US dollars as charitable assistance.

UCB

In order to support humanitarian efforts, the company handed over aid in the amount of 300,000 euros to the International Rescue Committee and the Belgian Red Cross.

The company delivered 5,000 units of anti-epileptic drugs and 5,000 units of anti-allergic drugs through the Tulipe charity organization to help patients in Ukraine.

In addition, the company made two more deliveries of drugs for the treatment of epilepsy patients, for a total amount of 679,000 Euros.

UCB purchased 3 ambulances, equipped them with modern medical equipment, and sent them to Ukraine with the help of the “BEForUkraine” charity fund.
