Concept of Health Care System Reforming was presented for public discussion
The Concept was developed taking into account the best practices in health care system reforming, supported by the WHO and other international organizations, aimed at improvement of health care systems and their effectiveness all over the world.
On 5 May 2016 Ministry of Health published the Draft Concept for public discussion on its web-page.
The main goal of latest CMU approval is the establishment of the new modern model of health care system financing. It provides for the clear and understandable state guarantees on medical aid, best financial protection for citizens in case any disease happen, effective and fair budget distribution and decrease of informal payments.
The reform is planned to be realized in subsequent 3 stages:
- Preparation and first wave of implementation(2016-2017);
- National implementation (2018-2019);
- Integration (2019-2020).
